In the early 1600’s, the Manchurians took over the sovereignty of China and established the Ching Dynasty. With many pro-nationalist revolts occurring, the newly set-up government immediately imposed a ban on the study and practice of the Martial Arts; forbidding them altogether in an attempt to gain effective control and order. Fire-wind (Sun Hong-Lei), a military official from the previous dynasty, sees this as an opportunity to make a fortune for himself by helping to implement the new law. Greedy, cruel, and immoral, Fire-wind ravages and ranges across North-western China with his next goal to attack the final frontier; an intransigent and hold-out town known as the Martial Village.
Fu Qingzhu, a retired executioner from the previous dynasty, feels a moral obligation to try and put a stop to this brutality and decides to save Martial Village. He convinces Wu Yuanyin and Han Zhiban from the village to travel with him to the far away and mystical Mount Heaven in order to seek help from Master Shadow-Glow, a hermit who is a master of swords and leads a group of disciples with unimaginable swordsmanship. Master Shadow-Glow agrees to help, and orders four of his best disciples to go. Together with Chu Zhaonan, Yang Yunchong, Mulang, and Xin Longzi, their heroic journey begins.
Representing heroism and goodness at its finest, they come to be known as the SEVEN SWORDS. Returning to Martial Village, they soon decide for safety’s sake to move and lead the entire village to a safer place. Soon confusion reigns as they discover that their food and water has been poisoned, and that all of the escape routes have been marked with signs leading the enemy directly to them. They realize that there must be an undercover spy in their midsts; but who is it? The SEVEN SWORDS must identify the mole before Fire-wind’s army gets to them; otherwise all will be lost. With so many things going wrong and stuck between a narrow gap of life and death, the situation is further complicated by the emergence of an unexpected and unwelcome love triangle.…
Adapted from renowned writer Liang Yu-Shen’s timeless classic, SEVEN SWORDS is an action-packed wuxia epic tapestry, interwining love, betrayal, and heroism.
29 year old, Dr. Atsuko Chiba is an attractive, but modest Japanese research psychotherapist, renowned for her advanced scientific work. Her alter-ego is a stunning and fearless 18 year old “dream detective,” code named PAPRIKA, who can enter into people’s dreams and synchronize with their unconscious to help uncover the source of their anxiety or neurosis.
At Atsuko’s lab, a powerful new psychotherapy device known as the “DC-MINI” has been invented by her brilliant colleague, Dr. Tokita, a nerdy genius who is rather too fond of his food. Although this state-of-art device could revolutionize the world of psychotherapy, in the wrong hands the potential misuse of the device could be devastating, allowing the user to completely annihilate the dreamer’s personality while they are asleep.
When one of the only four existing DC-MINI prototypes is stolen in the final stages of research, and simultaneously Dr. Tokita’s research assistant, Himuro, goes missing, Atsuko suspects it’s not a coincidence. Several of the remaining researchers at the lab start to go mad, dreaming while in their waking states, haunted by a Japanese doll which featured heavily in the dreams of one of Himuro’s schizophrenic patients. Atsuko now knows for certain that the DC MINI is being used to destroy people’s minds. She fears that not only will the government refuse to sanction the use of the machine for psychotherapy purposes when it becomes public, but whoever is manipulating the machines has a more evil purpose in mind.
“Kung Fu Panda” features Jack Black as Po the Panda, a lowly waiter in a noodle restaurant, who is a kung fu fanatic but whose shape doesn’t exactly lend itself to kung fu fighting. In fact, Po’s defining characteristic appears to be that he is the laziest of all the animals in ancient China. That’s a problem because powerful enemies are at the gates, and all hopes have been pinned on a prophesy naming Po as the “Chosen One” to save the day. A group of martial arts masters are going to need a black belt in patience if they are going to turn this slacker panda into a kung fu fighter before it’s too late.

I like this movie a lot. It’s about a girl call Makoto who during one unlucky day, she failed a surprise test and on her way home, her bicycle’s brake broke down and she was dashing towards an incoming train. During that instant before she got hit by the train, she managed to time leapt and avoid the accident.
With her new power, she started to try and change the things happening to her. She leapt back in time and tried to prevent and avoid those unlucky things that she know it will happen. But soon she realise that everytime she tried to change something to make herself happy, somebody else will suffer because of her actions. At first, the changes she did will only affect somebody in a small way. But as she starts to change more and more things, the sufferings of the ones around her starts to increase.
The show also touch on friendship and love. It is through her time travelling ability that she discover how her friend, Kōsuke, can give up on love to prevent her from being lonely. And when one of her friend, Chiaki, tried to confess his love to her, she used her ablity and tried to prevent it from happening.
She tried many times to prevent the confession but she will fail everytime so eventually she created a chance for her classmate Yuki to be together with Chiaki. But when the two of them really got together, she started to get jealous.
Eventually she realised that there is a limited amount of times she could use her abilty. And because of the changes she made, Kōsuke became the one who borrowed Makoto’s bicycle and Kōsuke became the substitution of Makoto in the train accident. By that time she had already used up all her time travelling.
Well. I wouldn’t spoil you all with the ending here. But I will say its a great show. Two thumbs up. =D. Here is the movie trailer with substitles :
