Synopsis:

In Columbia Pictures’ action-packed thriller “Vantage Point,” eight strangers with eight different points of view try to unlock the one truth behind an assassination attempt on the president of the United States. Thomas Barnes (Dennis Quaid) and Kent Taylor (Mathew Fox) are two Secret Service agents assigned to protect President Ashton (William Hurt) at a landmark summit on the global war on terror.

When President Ashton is shot moments after his arrival in Spain, chaos ensues and disparate lives collide in the hunt for the assassin. In the crowd is Howard Lewis (Forest Whitaker), an American tourist who thinks he’s captured the shooter on his camcorder while videotaping the event for his kids back home.

Also there, relaying the historic event to millions of TV viewers across the globe, is American TV news producer Rex Brooks (Sigourney Weaver). As they and others reveal their stories, the pieces of the puzzle will fall into place – and it will become apparent that shocking motivations lurk just beneath the surface.

My Review:

This movie I personally like it a lot. It tells the story in the perspective of 8 different person. So most of the scene will keep repeating. At 1st like after showing 2 to 3 person, I thought it will be quite boring to see this shit 8 time. But after 3rd person they will start to reveal a lot of things. For example, one guy saw his girlfriend flirting with another guy. But when the story is told in the flirting guy point of view, you will actually found out that the women actually kidnap his brother and the flirting action you saw at 1st was actually the women treatening the guy.

The whole movie contains lot of unexpected turns. A lot of things when you 1st saw it you will predict is this way. But from another guy point of view then you will see the shocking truth. The whole terrorist attack was very well plan. I like to see smart people having smart plans.
